The word "shiné" (in Sanskrit: śamatha) is composed of two Tibetan words:
shi means the pacification of the mind, keeping it free of excitation and laxity, free of afflictions and their turbulences
né means to continually place the mind at a given point, or to sustain the given placement.
In English it is usually translated as calm abiding.
Size: 15.5 cm x 10.5 cm
The cards are delivered in a sturdy paper box and a practical card stand is part of the package.
