A popular protective amulet ideal for the car, but can also be hung on the door of the house or elsewhere in the house or apartment.

In the past in Tibet, protectors were used for more traditional means of transport such as horses.

They were believed to protect them from evil spirits that might otherwise threaten the rider's life.

Protectors with the image of Kalachakra on the back - It is said that the spirits of beings who have died in car accidents and are stuck in between states roam the roads. Since the image of Kalachakra has the ability to deliver by just looking at them, it can remind these ghosts in the bardo of enlightenment and thus help them too.

Product detailed description

White Tara - Bodhisattva, embodying the feminine aspect of (maternal) compassion. She is an emanation of Chenrezig, the Buddha of compassion - it is said that she arose from his tears, which he shed out of compassion for the suffering of sentient beings. It is traditionally associated with health, longevity and wisdom. In traditional depictions, the white Tara has seven eyes, symbolizing her omnipresence, her knowledge of all the suffering in the world, and her determination to help sentient beings on their journey out of the suffering of "samsara." The bright white colour of Tara's body represents the purity of her compassion.

The Green Tara protects from accidents and misfortune. Tara means "Liberator" or also "Star" showing the way.

Manjushree - the Buddha of wisdom. The sword he holds in his right hand wards off ignorance and the sutra not a lotus flower in his left hand represents wisdom and attainment of enlightenment. Thus Manjushri is the Bodhisattva who helps us to remove ignorance and develop wisdom.

Dharmapāla - Protector of Dharma. He protects practitioners on the path from adverse influences. His formidable form represents his strength and determination to overcome all obstacles that block our spiritual growth, but also with disturbing emotions that prevent our mind from attaining enlightenment. His crown with five gems symbolizes the transformation of five negative emotions into five wisdoms. The attainment of the highest wisdom is demonstrated by the third eye in the middle of the forehead. Dharmapāla appears in many different forms, in different colors and number of hands, but all forms are protective and compassionate. One of them, and the one containing them all, is Mahākāla - the "Great Protector" "dharmapāla" (Sanskrit) - the protector of the Buddha Dharma, its action and development. With his menacing, "wrathful" form, he transforms all negative influences and disturbing emotions into wisdom, opening the way for enlightened compassion. It is therefore seen as a necessary quality or emanation of the Buddha of Compassion, the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara - Chenrezig.

Guru Rinpoche "Padmasambhava" - Karma Kagyu lineage holder, teacher and tantric yogi. He brought Buddhist teachings to Tibet in the eighth century. He is said to have been an incarnation of Buddha Shkayamuni. He handed down many teachings (termas) which he hid in solid rocks, lakes and space for posterity. He also made many predictions.

Chenrezig "Avalokiteshvara" - "he who sees with unwavering eye", is the most revered of all Bodhisattvas and embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty. It has special significance to Tibetans, so much so that it is sometimes described as the patron saint of Tibet.

Shakyamuni Buddha - Indian prince Gautama Siddhartha who attained enlightenment (and thus became a Buddha) in the 6th century BCE and who taught the spiritual path followed by millions of people around the world, known today as Buddhism. Buddha - literally "awakened". A fully enlightened being, freed from all obscurations and fully endowed with all awakened qualities.

Dzambhala - a protective deity associated with wealth and prosperity.
