NALA Calendar 2023
Product detailed description
Conscious care embeds our spiritual efforts in the solid ground of the world's context. Our meditation draws energy from it, growing and solidifying. It begins to resemble a tree. Its heart is Bodhicitta, and it will grow stronger so that one day it can grow into the Bodhi tree itself, the Tree of Awakening.
This tree has seven branches. It is the seven inner gestures and activities of the mind that anchor and develop the entire relationship. These "seven branches", from which flows the power that nourishes the meditation trunk, and the seven merit-generating activities, have been formulated and expressed in the so-called "seven-part wish" since the time of the Buddha. This forms the axis and outline of the foundation of all Mahayana and Vajrayana practices. We now offer a brief interpretation of it, which we have adopted from the teachings of the Venerable Lama Sabchu Rinpoche.
The calendar has 14 months (from January this year to the end of February 2024) and also includes photographs by the world-renowned and respected photographer Tokpa Korlo.
